NRS are offering Career Researcher Fellowships in a new scheme aimed to support General Practitioners and NHS-funded clinical staff with research experience to develop research within their post. The award provides funding for protected time to contribute to, conduct and lead clinical research to strengthen the research culture in the NHS. – Closing date for applications Wednesday 29th November 2023.

For more information, guidance and application forms please see the NRS Fellowship page.

CSO are offering NHS Researcher Development Fellowships aimed at NHS employees currently working as a Nurse, Midwife, allied health professional, pharmacist, healthcare scientist or other in a clinical role to enable them to explore research as part of their existing NHS role.

The fellowship can be used in a versatile way either providing a realistic introduction to research by participating in a research study and receiving mentorship and support regarding the next steps, or for candidates who already have some research experience as a way to develop additional skills and in some cases the time and mentorship to develop a competitive PhD fellowship application.

This is also an opportunity for experienced NHS researchers to mentor and support health professionals at the start or their research journey. – Closing Date for applications Wednesday 31 January 2024.
