Chair's Update January 2022

Dear Members,

A very Happy New Year to you all as we begin 2022! While we are not yet free from the complexities and impact of the COVID pandemic, we have come a long way from this time last year; particularly the vaccination programme that many of you helped to role out and deliver during 2020. We also know much more than this time last year as the research and evidence continues, please remember that the COVID joint Guidance was last updated in October 2020 and is available on the website.

Thank you to everyone that took the time to complete the website survey through December and January, it is important that we understand your views as we look to update and improve this aspect of the BSA. 2022 is going to offer further exciting opportunities including some new, more specialised learning events led by our Special Interest Groups but please don’t forget about the existing and expanding portfolio of online learning available to all members.

Could 2022 be there year that you get actively involved in what we do here at the BSA? Several of our Special Interest Groups are recruiting new members and your interest and/or expertise would be warmly welcomed, if you are thinking about it, do it!
