Chair's Update December 2021

Dear members,

I hope that this message finds you safe and well as we enter the festive period. It has been another challenging year coping with the Covid-19 pandemic and the long-term impact this has had but I do hope that you are all able to find some relaxation time with friends and family over the coming weeks.

As Derek kindly hands the reigns (no festive pun intended!) of Chair over, I am excited and looking forward to a positive 2022, where together, we will continue to drive the organisation forward. Every member of the BSA, the trustees of Council, members of our Special Interest Groups, Professional Guidance Group and Research Group, are hugely important and integral to the success of the BSA, and I thank each and every one of you wholeheartedly, the BSA cannot function without you.

The BSA website is a crucial part of the society for both membership and groups alike. Therefore, as we enter the new year, we would like to take some time to focus on this aspect; do you think the website can be improved and how? Your opinion really does matter, please do take a moment to complete the short survey we are launching. We hope that by improving the website it will give all members better access to the content they want, particularly the great work of all BSA groups….it promises to be an interesting and exciting 2022!

Best wishes for the festive season,

Kindest regards

Donna
