BSA has a major role in the provision of critical and independent advice. We are:

– Dedicated to providing information to the public. Click here for more information.

– Proactive and lead, or contribute to, the national agenda for policies on research, education and clinical practice via an ‘Expert Advice Team’

– Represented on a great many ventures such as HAB-UK, Alliance on Hearing Loss, DoH Audiology Advisory Group, the James Lind Alliance and Generate

– Responsive via the ‘Rapid Response Panel’, a mechanism that deals with requests for advice, often requiring a rapid turn around e.g., commentaries on the DoH programme of Modernising Scientific Careers
