The NIHR Insights Programme offers health and care professionals the chance to gain first-hand experience of research in practice — from shadowing researchers to understanding how studies are designed and delivered. Currently, in the North East region, only one audiologist is participating in the Insights Programme, which means there’s a real opportunity for more colleagues to get involved.
Alongside Insights, the NIHR Internship Programme provides structured opportunities for health and care professionals to take their first steps into research.
