Full Time/Permanent
De Montfort University (DMU) is a vibrant, ambitious and inclusive learning institution. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Audiology team. We are growing and developing several initiatives that will drive scholarly activities, onsite clinical practice, advanced training and research.
The role is to develop and deliver primarily on the training and teaching of future Paediatric Audiologists. It is a period where we are reviewing and developing our curriculum and want a fresh look at our provision and ensure a contemporary curriculum that will be imaginative and innovative, but also engaging.
We have recently begun Paediatric clinics onsite that can be accessed by students and have excellent Paediatric facilities for training and are willing and keen to add further to them. We have links with centres of excellence and have a Professor that is nationally renowned for their work in NHSP.
Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidate should be experienced and well versed in Paediatric audiology, but will also have an all-round grounding in Audiology. A postgraduate qualification in Audiology would be useful but experience in Paediatrics is equally if not more valued for this role. The candidate must be passionate about teaching and training, it is important that they are creative and have the determination to drive change and be novel.
