2 Day BAAP Aetiological Investigations for hearing loss in children course, which will be held face to face at RCPCH, London.

Aetiological Investigation of the babies identified through the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme and diagnosed to have a hearing loss (from mild to profound), also covering investigation of older children, unilateral and progressive hearing loss and Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder.
The course will give delegates a good opportunity to meet leaders in the field of aetiological investigations for hearing loss in children and running established services, and also network with colleagues new to the field.

Who should attend?
Any professional providing an Aetiological Investigation service for children with
permanent hearing loss. Preference will be given to those who have not followed the
course within the last 3 years.

• Current National guidelines for Aetiological Investigation of
permanent childhood hearing impairment (from mild to profound)
• Roles of CMV, Imaging, Ophthalmology, Vestibular Assessment and
Genetics of hearing loss
• Investigation of unilateral and progressive hearing loss
• Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder
