Broadcaster and journalist Kirsty Gallacher has joined Tinnitus UK as an ambassador to help raise awareness of tinnitus and the vital support available to those affected.
Kirsty has spoken candidly about her experience following a diagnosis of a benign acoustic neuroma, which caused hearing loss and tinnitus. In her own words, “the impact was devastating,” but with the right advice and coping strategies, she’s now in a much more positive space, and wants others to know that help is available.
