The BSA’s Adult Rehabilitation Special Interest Group (ARIG) is looking to engage recent graduates and hope you will consider applying for this.
We consider this role to be about learning and gaining confidence as much as it is about contributing to ARIG activities. We’d like you to:
- Be a peer-representative for ARIG to encourage others to get involved with the group
- Support selected (by you) ongoing ARIG initiatives at the level that works for your interests and availability
- Attend quarterly online ARIG meetings. These are generally scheduled for 1 hour over lunch and take place on different days of the week each time to allow maximum accessibility. If you’re not able to attend every meeting, that’s ok.
By joining our diverse group you will get to:
- Join in discussions about the latest approaches to adult rehabilitation in audiology during our quarterly meetings
- Shape the future of adult rehabilitation in audiology within the UK by contributing to ongoing projects, initiating new projects of your own, collaborating on new projects with other more experienced members of ARIG members and working collaboratively
- Gain the confidence to become a full (senior) member of ARIG in the not too distant future
- Gain the skills to become a future leader within the BSA
- Broaden your professional network by having direct contact with BSA leaders.
