The BSA is proud to announce the winners of its prestigious prizes:
The Denzil Brooks Trophy has been awarded to Dr Melanie Ferguson for promoting excellence in audiological practice through her ARIG leadership, C2Hear project and lead authorship of the recent Cochrane Review of benefits of hearing aids for mild-moderate hearing loss. Mel also receives the Jos Millar Prize nominated by the editorial team of Audacity for her article outlining the C2Hear project.
The Ruth Spencer Prize has been awarded to Dr Peter West for his significant contributions to audiovestibular practice.
Prof Doris Bamiou has been awarded the Thomas Simm Littler Prize for academic contributions to the discipline of Audiology, specifically in relation to management of APD.
