Sheffield Teaching Hospital – BSA Certificate in Survelliance Audiometry (previously known as Industrial Audiometry)

This British Society of Audiology accredited course is aimed at occupational health workers, industrial audiometricians, primary care workers and any other professionals undertaking hearing assessment.
It provides delegates with continuing professional development to support and develop knowledge and skills to support a successful hearing conservation program in line with noise at work regulations.
The course content is based on a recommended syllabus provided by the British Society of Audiology, the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) ‘The control of noise at work regulations 2005′ and industry specific requirements.
Emphasis is placed on providing students with both theory and practical knowledge to ensure safe and effective practice in Survelliance Audiometry.
A BSA Certificate in Survelliance Audiometry will be awarded to those delegates who pass the practical and theory assessments.
