Organised by the British Society of Audiology, we are delighted to announce that the 2017 annual conference entitled Audiology and the Greater Good, will take place on the 29th and 30th June 2017 at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate.

The BSA Annual Conference continues to be the leading UK scientific forum to bring together clinicians and researchers who have an interest in hearing, tinnitus and balance.

This event promises to offer delegates the latest in audiology research, education and expertise, with inspiring speakers and informative sessions.

Registration is now open! For more information visit:

 Audiology and the Greater Good
The theme, Audiology and the Greater Good, aims to help us to contextualise Audiology, focus on how Audiology fits within the wider experience of someone’s life and consider the impact of what we do. Hot topics this year include exploration of the latest technology and implantable devices, comorbidities, integrated care and Audiology’s relationship with the justice system.

Programme Highlights
This year’s programme will include key scientific developments that will impact on research and future clinical practice and will provide a mix of talks including e-lectures from international experts around the world, interactive discussions, and panel sessions, so delegates and presenters get the most out of the conference. The conference programme presents opportunities for individuals across a range of disciplines and backgrounds to engage and share their knowledge and expertise.

 Call for Abstracts

A key element in any BSA conference is to hear about the audiology work you are doing. Why not showcase your work and consider submitting an abstract for either a poster or a talk? Both presentation methods are a great way to share good practice and recent knowledge. There will be a prize for the best poster presentation.

For more information and to view the abstract topics, please visit the conference website.

You can no longer submit an abstract for oral presentation at conference – the deadline date has now passed. We will still be accepting abstracts for posters only, until Friday 21st April 2017. Click here to find out how to submit an abstract.
