Introducing the Balance Interest Group Web-site
The aims of the Balance Interest Group website include informing patients about the nature of the Balance system,and offering advice on how to proceed with problem solving if they have a balance problem. It also aims to improve service delivery within the NHS through the practitioners section, by listing professional websites for some of the other paramedics who might usefully get involved with Balance Rehabilitation, in addition to those in the field of Audiology. Hence there are links to the websites for specialist physiotherapists, and clinical psychologists. In the public section it aims to answer common questions asked by patients, and offer up to date web links to useful websites concerning everything from anatomy to welfare advice.
